P.E. Heart Starter Cards
The Physical Education homework cards focus on cardiovascular fitness. Students may do new physical activities and write them down or write down activities they are already doing (i.e. walking or biking to & from school or attending sports practice). In an effort to promote ongoing fitness, the homework cards are not due until the first week of February giving students 8 weeks to complete the cards. Our PE Homework Cards are part of our California PE Standards:
5.1 Set a personal goal to improve an area of health-related physical fitness and work toward that goal in non-school time.
5.2 Collect data and record progress toward attainment of a personal fitness goal.
